Hey fellow Spice Girl! Let me quickly introduce you to Turmeric. Turmeric Drinks have been my latest obsession - and if you check out any natural wellness blogs, you’ll know I’m not alone.
But this Super Food is more than just an aesthetic trend. Turmeric has long been used in Ayurvedic medicine (the traditional holistic practice in Hindu medicine) for it's anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, antiseptic, and anti-depressant properties.
We adore A Cup of Sun because it’s a delicious, versatile paste (instead of powder). They kept it organic, dairy-free, and local to the U.S. They offer one-time purchases but if you love it as much as we do, we recommend signing up for their subscription service (you save 10% off when you subscribe!). Iced Golden Milk Lattes
Starbucks added their Turmeric Latte to the menu in response to the trends on high street and not to mention their extra Instagram-abble foam art. So we wanted to share a DIY Turmeric Latte you can make at home.
We simply mixed coffee, milk of choice, turmeric paste, a touch of vanilla, and a bit of sweetener. For a caffeine free drink, simply remove the coffee and create a traditional version of the golden milk latte. Both versions can be enjoyed warm or over ice!
iced turmeric latte recipe:
1 cup of Coffee (optional)
1 cup Milk of Choice (coconut, macadamia, almond, soy)
1 Tsp. of Turmeric Paste
1/4 Tsp. Vanilla Extract
1/4 Tsp. Honey
Mix all ingredients and serve warm or over ice. Enjoy!

Turmeric Dalgona Coffee
If 2020 was a coffee, it would be Dalgona. Upside down, instant, and definitely gone viral! We took this coffee trend and added our own Turmeric twist. The result is a deliciously fluffy concoction that has gorgeous golden marbleization (yes it’s a word) is just as fun to watch as it is to drink. Check out the Dalgona Coffee instructions below and get ready to spice it up with Turmeric!
Tumeric Dalgona Coffee Recipe
1 Tablespoon of Instant Coffee
1 Tablespoon of Sugar
1 Tablesooon of Hot Water
1 Cup Milk of Choice (coconut, soy, macadamia)
1 Tsp. Turmeric Paste
To make the Dalgona “coffee foam”, mix equal parts instant coffee, sugar, and hot water. If you have the goddess forearms for this, you can do this manually with a whisk (it will take 4-5 minutes to create those high peaks). We went ahead and used our trusty electric hand mixer and whipped it up in about 1 minute. Mix your milk of choice with Turmeric Paste, then add the coffee foam on top to complete your Turmeric Dalgona drink. Serve warm or over ice and enjoy!
