Okay let’s be honest, The McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park, lovingly referred to as the “choo-choo train park” in my home, is a god send for all parents in the Scottsdale area.
It’s a small but spacious park with a playground suitable for all ages, includes the Scottsdale Rail Museum, a carousel, and a miniature steam train that you (and I guess your kid) can actually ride around the park!
The Railroad Park is a real gem, and they go above and beyond to create wholesome experiences for families. Take a peek at their Events Page and save the upcoming dates in your calendar!
Here are some of our memories from their recent Holiday Lights event. I HIGHLY recommend upgrading to the FAST PASS ($15) to skip the lines. Because those lines are bananas! And if you’re with a toddler who is nearing his bed time and cold and a Christmas lights enthusiast, standing in a really really long line is the last place you want to be. The FAST PASSES are limited availability and you go through the exit (Yeah, that kind of “I know the DJ” passes!)
