I want a love that most people don’t believe in anymore

Oh you know, the kind that looks better in real life than on Instagram.. The kind that you still rush home to after a long work day.. The kind that you’re willing to throw society’s list of must-haves for what you two do-have..

Not the kind where you have to question whether it’s still the core foundation or just pushed all the way to bottom of never-ending list of priorities that you never seem to have time for.

I want to love and be loved in a way that reminds people of the strength, growth, and magic that you can experience when you allow your heart to be vulnerable, honest, trusting to another.

We’ve all been there my friend, and may be there again and again. But right now, I choose to believe in a love like this.

“There are two basic motivating forces: fear and love. When we are afraid, we pull back from life. When we are in love, we open to all that life has to offer with passion, excitement, and acceptance. We need to learn to love ourselves first, in all our glory and imperfections. If we cannot love ourselves, we cannot fully open to our ability to create. Evolution and all hopes for a better world rest in the fearlessness and open-hearted vision of people who embrace life.” -Lennon
